How we handle the personal information you send us through our contact form.

Who we are
This website is run by Gimmick Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07529477). Our registered address is 99 Wavers Marston, Birmingham, England, B37 7GL.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice, which means we decide how it is used. Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are responsible for keeping it safe and using it fairly.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name
- your company
- your email address
- your phone number
- your message
- any file you choose to attach
Please only include personal information in your message or attachment that we need to understand your enquiry.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking.
Why we use it
We use your information only to read and reply to your enquiry, and to follow up on it with you.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: when you contact us, we have a legitimate interest in responding to you and discussing how we might work together. We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell them.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry, including any attachment, for 12 months from when you send it, and then delete it. If you become a client, we will tell you separately how we handle information as part of that work.
Who else sees it
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run this website and receive your enquiry:
- our website hosting provider, which stores the enquiries sent through the form
- our email provider, which delivers enquiries to our inbox
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. We will also share information if the law requires us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use your information
- object to us using your information
To use any of these rights, email contact.sme@gimmickconsulting.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right.
